Shakrain Festival In Bangladesh
Shakrain Festival also known as Kite festival is Celebrated especially in Old Dhaka, It is observed at the end of the Bengali month Poush or January 14 or 15. This is day is also known as Poush Shangkranti.

As part of the celebration, kites are flown high from the rooftopsaround the area in the afternoon. It often takes the form of kite fighting, in which participants try to snag each other's kites or cut other kites down.

When night falls, fireworks lit up the sky of old Dhaka. Flame-eaters also gather up on the roofs to entertainment everyone with their skills of manipulating fire.

Alutila Hill in Matiranga Upazilla of the Khagrachori Hill Tracts
